AI can help you respond better to sales challenges such as unexpected questions, handling objections, and nervousness during negotiations.
In sales, you’re often tasked with closing deals but without coming off too pushy. This can be a difficult balance to achieve. AI can help you make informed decisions, giving you more confidence in your conversations or negotiations.
In this lesson you’ll:
  • Build on your existing knowledge of ChatGPT
  • Create a conversational flow and design prompts for even more effective sales conversations

Time to Cook 👩‍🍳

  1. Map out your sales conversations.
In this step, you’ll map out the flow of a typical sales conversation in your environment.
Here's how to do it:
  • Start by writing down common sales scenarios that you experience. These could include things like initial outreach from your prospects, negotiating pricing, subscriptions, or upselling/cross-selling situations.
  • For each scenario, write down a typical conversation flow. What are the common conversations do you have? How do you currently respond to them? Are there questions you can't answer convincingly?
  1. Craft your prompt.
Edit the prompt below by replacing the uppercase text with relevant information for your scenario.
I am the YOUR SALES ROLE at YOUR COMPANY. I want to create more convincing and persuasive responses to common sales scenarios that I experience.
You're an expert salesperson and negotiator who has helped thousands of salespeople hit higher engagement and conversion rates, ultimately leading to higher sales and revenue.
