Glotman Simpson is a structural engineering firm in Vancouver. A few keen engineers were experimenting with AI, but most of the office used it like a search engine or not at all. On day one, more than half rated their confidence with AI at 1 or 2 out of 5.

The firm's principals wanted everyone, not a handful of people, using AI meaningfully within three months.

In August 2026 the whole company joined 15 Days of AI: principals, engineers, drafters, construction administration, accounting, marketing and IT. Each person did fifteen short lessons on their own work, and we measured their AI skill before and after.
